I wish I could sleep. It is midnight and I can not sleep.
Asthma causes reflux. Reflux causes bad coughing.
The only thing that it helps right now is sitting. As soon as I lay down I think I might just die since I cough so much.
I already had my first gastroscopy, it wasn't as bad as I feared.
I have been taking drugs for the last few days, but it is not getting better.
I hope I will be able to see my doctor tomorrow (hopefully she isn't booked out yet).
I started to write this blog about infertility. But right now, I couldn't care less about it.
All I wish is to have healthy lungs and healthy stomach.
Sending healing thoughts your way!
ReplyDeleteGrrr... Are the allergens in the air yet making Asthma worse? They are just starting to come out around here. Get better soon!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear that you’re not well. It’s hard to sleep when you have to be in a sitting position. I hope it improves over the coming days.
ReplyDeleteI feel your pain. I've had acid reflux since I was a young child. It makes life unbearable.
ReplyDeletedear Savannah, sorry to hear that you have had acid reflux already as a child. I have had asthma since I was a child. But reflux only for the last 3 years. It sucks.
DeleteLuckily I am feeling a bit better today. I slept the whole night. What a luxury!
thank you all for kind wishes!
ReplyDeleteOh Klara, I'm so sorry you're going through this. After my anaesthetic I experienced breathing difficulties and it was horrible. Hoping your lungs clear and you get more good nights' sleep.
ReplyDeletedear Mali, thank you.
Deletebest wishes for fast recovery also to you!
Asthma sucks, I am sorry about that. I have had chronic asthma and I know how terrible it feels. I never go anywhere without my Ventolin.
ReplyDeleteBtw, greetings from Uruguay, spending one month there for work. So, if you get hits from there, it's only me...
dear Lara, yes, I did noticed an Uruguay visitor (that I never had before). So lovely to know that this is you! Enjoy your time there!
DeleteAnd yes, Ventolin has been my drug since I was a toddler. Luckily though I don't have to use it very often now.
Glad you're feeling a little better, Klara. I get heartburn and reflux periodically and it's no fun.
