Looking forward to autumn

I am enjoying a beautiful summer. I am outside a lot:
 - cycling
- working on my vegetable garden
- swimming in the sea
- swimming in the alpine lake
- walking in the forrest
- picking up blueberries
- picking up porcinis

Being sad because of my childlessness? No, no time for that :)

My top favourite hobby of this week? Planning our next holidays, on the other side of the world. As you can see, there are plenty of books to read.

  2. Your summer sounds wonderful (and your activities are everything what I would love to do but cannot at the moment)! The blueberries and porcinis are so much better when picked up in their natural habitat instead of a grocery store!

Planning the next vacation is always fun, almost as much as the vacation itself :). What part of the US are you considering?

    1. We definetely would love to visit: San Francisco (again, after 11 years) & Lake Tahoe (for the first time) & Yosemite National Park (for the first time)

    2. That sounds like a very good plan! I have been to CA only once but I loved it there and hope to visit again. Too bad your stay will be on the opposite coast.

Our next vacation, as cliche as it sounds, hopefully will be in Paris.

    3. Have you ever been to Paris before? We were, 11 years ago, only for 7 hours (on our way back from the honeymoon to USA&Canada). Paris is lovely. We have to visit it one day again, for longer.

    4. No, I haven't even though my husband have multiple times. He even speaks some French. I just want to see and experience it.

  3. I'm ready for the cooler weather of fall, and even winter. I'm not a heat person! But we have been enjoying lots of camping. We don't take a lot of vacations, but we did decide to maybe go to Yellowstone National Park in the fall of 2015, so I'll probably start planning that soon. ;)
Enjoy those blueberries. I used to not like blueberries, but suddenly, I am obsessed with them.

    1. Yes, we would also love to visit Yellowstone NP one day... perhaps on the next trip. There are too many beautiful things to see & do at once.

  4. My friend lives in USA and she loveeeess Lake Tahoe. Sounds like a great summer indeed! I can't wait for our summer holiday, though it feels more like the beginning of autumn up here (it's dropped to around 9-15'C this week).
