I had a lovely day in the mountains with my father today. After 20 years I reached 2000 meters+ again!!! I had no problem going up, but my knees weren't that happy with going down. But I still loved the 6-hour-hike.
I am attaching some of my favourite photos, taken today in the Julian Alps.
Guess what I am doing right now? Cooking my favourite blueberry jam.
Homemade blueberry jam?? I love it! I'm glad you got to spend the day hiking with your dad. <3 Thank you for sharing your pictures!ReplyDelete
Wow, it's such a gorgeous part of the world.ReplyDelete
Congrats on the 2000+ metres. I'm very impressed. I KNOW my knees (and toes) wouldn't be able to cope with coming down.
Mmmmmm - blueberries.
Thank you for sharing the pictures of your beautiful hike!ReplyDelete
It does look lovely and I'm sure your blueberry jam is delicious, too :-).
Well done, dear Klara, it looks wonderful! Congrats on the pictures of the Alpine choughs :-)ReplyDelete
So beautiful! Wow, that's quite a hike. I like going up when it's steep/rocky/craggy, but going down that way is tough for sure. Although I don't think I've ever climbed something so tall (I know I haven't!). Ooooh, beautiful blueberries. And the jam! I feel like I can taste it. Thanks for sharing your day with your dad!ReplyDelete
