I am a 50-something European woman doing what I once thought wasn't possible: finding happiness after infertility. While it's been a long, difficult and emotional journey (10 unsuccessful IVF treatments), each day I take another step down the path toward a fulfilling new life. This is my story of reinvention.

Bosnia
I visited Bosnia again after many years. It was a wonderful holiday, catching up with people I love.
Ooh, what is the food? It looks like dessert in the last picture and maybe hot chocolate in the picture before that. What is the bread? Are they filled with anything? It looks so delicious!!
I am happy to read that you had a wonderful holiday. :)
Dear Phoenix, the delicious pies were made by my aunt: potatoe pie, meat pie (=burek), cottage cheese pie and butter pie. Sweets were: apple pie and another traditional sweet, made of concentrated apple juice/jam. And: traditional coffee. Klara PS: I am having troubles commenting on my own blog (and also the others), I have to fix that.
Dear Klara, Thank you for sharing these beautiful pictures. My husband tried burek once and liked it a lot. Unfortunately I had to skip due to intolerances. But it is always nice to learn about foods and traditions from other countries. Much love!

Yum!! It all sounds so good! Wish I was there :)
DeleteSo gorgeous - the views AND the food. I can feel the happiness through the photos. The pies sound wonderful too. Really glad you had a good trip.
