I am a 50-something European woman doing what I once thought wasn't possible: finding happiness after infertility. While it's been a long, difficult and emotional journey (10 unsuccessful IVF treatments), each day I take another step down the path toward a fulfilling new life. This is my story of reinvention. I will be happy to hear from you: klara.soncek (@ ) gmail.com

Alpe Adria Cycling Trail
I just returned from a great cycling tour with my husband. We went cycling on Alpe Adria Cycling Trail, from south of Austria to Salzburg: https://www.alpe-adria-radweg.com/en/
We cycled 180 kilometers in 3 days. It isn't a lot of kilometers, but some of them were quite steep.
I am attaching some photos.
The next cycling trip will be at the end of summer, the southern part of the cycling trail: to Italian seaside.

WOW. So incredibly beautiful!!! It gets me excited to move next year. Where I currently live is very ugly. I love your photos!
ReplyDeleteI am glad that you had a good cycling trip! The pictures are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWow! I had to laugh at your understatement: "It isn't a lot of kilometers, but some of them were quite steep." Having driven a mountain pass that you said you have cycled, I am sure some of the kilometres (NZ spelling) were VERY steep!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely thing to do. I loved Salzburg, when I visited on my first ever European trip back in June 1991! At the time, Slovenia was just splitting off from Yugoslavia, if I recall correctly. I never dreamed I'd have a Slovenian friend one day!
Back then I also never dreamed I'd have a friend from NZ <3
DeleteHaving friends all over the world is my definitely favourite silver linings of infertility.
