I've just finished a 70-hour-online-course of German.
Have I ever mentioned that I love learning languages 😉?

(with the help of translators - for example this one: https://www.deepl.com/translator you can read it as well, it is beautifully written; I love Elaine's photos).

70 hour course! That's awesome. Well done. I taught myself a bit of German before a trip to Austria some years ago (17), and was very proud of myself being able to buy some things at a shop, and knowing how to ask for 7 slices of whatever it was we were buying! And I love Elaine's blog too, but have to rely on a translated version.

ReplyDeleteYou are there absolute definition of "Lifelong Learner!" I think German in high school but remember not so much. My favorite phrase was "das tut mir leid" (that's too bad) and favorite word was zusammen (together). 70 hours is quite a commitment and an achievement! You are so making the most of things in pandemic times. (Also, I must check out Elaine's blog!)
