I didn't feel good in the morning - I had a headache & a sore throat. So I just took a day off work.
It was cosy - being able to spend ALL day in the bed, reading a good book. Sleeping in the afternoon. Drinking lots of hot tea.
It was lovely, not having to worry about anybody but me.
I feel much better now.
Good for you, Klara! I must admit to doing that from time to time as well. I call it my mental health day, even if it is a result of not feeling the best.

ReplyDeleteGlad to know you had rest and you feel better. It's also that time of the year over here - lots of people complaining about having flu/a cold in my FB stream.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to be able to take a sick day & not worry about little ones underfoot. Or to be able to take a sick day just for you, not because it's really your child who's sick. :p
